Two Runaways Found, Third Still Missing

Terrika AlexanderTwo minors who were reported missing as runaways were taking into custody Sunday morning, the V.I. Police Department reported, but a third remains missing.

The two girls, Angelette Calvin and Ras Jahida Escobar, were spotted by officers at the Jam Time Night Club in Estate Mountain at about 4 a.m. Sunday. Detectives from the Youth Investigation Bureau were notified and the minors were taken into custody and placed in the Youth Rehabilitation Facility.

Police are still searching for the third missing/runaway minor, Terrika Alexander, who left the Girls Group Home on St. Croix on May 15 and did not return. Alexander has been termed "a frequent runaway" by authorities.

Alexander is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. She has short black hair and may be wearing a weave, a wig or extensions in her hair.

The V.I. Police Department reminded residents that anyone found to be harboring or hiding the missing teen may face criminal charges.
