Closed since the September hurricanes, the excise tax office in Gallows Bay on St. Croix reopened this week. The offices were closed after the storm due to repairs and maintenance issues, which have now been completed, according to the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
“We welcome our staff back to Gallows Bay location, and we also thank them for their patience as well. We will continue to ensure that our employees have a safe location to provide the best customer service to our community,” IRB Director Marvin Pickering said in a statement released Tuesday.
Taxpayers with questions about the Excise Tax Office operations can contact Glen Hodge, Supervisor, at 340-715-1040, extension 3201.
