FEMA to Hire Dozens of U.S. Virgin Islanders as Temporary Employees

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is hiring dozens of Virgin Islanders as temporary employees to help with the territory’s recovery from hurricanes Irma and Maria. Positions will be available on St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas.

Candidates can fill out applications and drop off resumes at the Department of Labor on St. Croix and St. Thomas, or the Virgin Islands Legislature on St. John between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Survivors can also send resumes to FEMA-dash-WORKFORCE-dash-CARIBBEAN-at-FEMA-dot-DHS-dot-GOV.

FEMA will call or email selected applicants to schedule an interview for next week.
