The Virgin Islands Department of Education is proud to invite students, families, and community members to two spectacular upcoming music concerts showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of our young musicians and music educators!

“Rhythms of the World” โ€“ A Global Musical Celebration

Charlotte Amalie High School, Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium

Tuesday, April 8, 6 p.m.


Experience an extraordinary journey through global music with captivating performances by the Concert Choir & Vocal Ensemble (directed by Mary Christensen), Mello Hawks & Jazz Band (directed by Eljhaie Brathwaite), and the Beginning Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band (directed by Akeel A. Breedy).

Admission: $10 Adults | $5 Students

“Melodies of Spring” โ€“ Annual Spring Concert

Thursday, April 24, 5:59 p.m.

Celebrate the vibrant sounds of spring as the Dynamite Rays Concert Band (directed by Shamoi A. Rodgers), Harmonic Rayz Concert Choir and Piano Lab (directed by Monet I. Davis), and Devil Rays Steel Ensemble (directed by Anthony Nibbs) light up the stage with uplifting musical selections.

Admission: $10 Adults | $5 Students

Refreshments will be available for purchase, courtesy of Kean Band Boosters, Inc.
