VIDE Announces Availability of Back-to-School Information on Official Platforms

The Virgin Islands Department of Education

The Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE) encourages parents, guardians and students to stay informed and prepared for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The first day of school for all public schools, territory-wide, is Monday, Aug. 5, 2024.

To ensure a smooth and successful start to the new school year, the Department of Education will provide essential information regarding orientation schedules, school supplies, school uniforms, school fees, updates and other important details via various platforms including:

The Virgin Islands Department of Education VIDE Website: Visit http://vide.vi  for comprehensive information and updates. Information for all public school sites can be found on the VIDE home page under School Updates.

VIDE Facebook Page: Follow the Virgin Islands Department of Education’s Facebook page for real-time updates and announcements.

Public Schools’ Facebook Pages: Public Schools will have information readily available on their respective school Facebook pages.

Radio Announcements:  Stay tuned for updates and other announcements on local radio stations.

Community Outreach: Stay tuned for information regarding upcoming “Back-to-School” events and other community activities for parents and students.
