THURSDAY’S WEATHER FORECAST: 5/16/24

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, high pressure will be over the region on Thursday, and the USVI will see a sunny sky, with a slight chance of isolated showers, predominantly during the afternoon. The high temperature will be approximately 88°F, 31.1°C, with winds out of the east at about 9 to 11 mph. The heat index may be high in some locations. The chance of rain on Thursday is approximately 20%. Please remember that the ground is very saturated; additional rain could lead to flash flooding.
Thursday night will be partly cloudy, with a slight chance of isolated showers. The low temperature will be approximately 79°F, 26.1°C, with winds out of the east at about 13 to 15 mph, gusting up to 20 mph. The possibility of rain on Thursday night is approximately 10%.

MARINE WEATHER UPDATE
On Thursday, the seas will be approximately 2 feet. Winds will be out of the east at about 10 knots.
On Thursday night, the seas will be approximately 2 to 3 feet, with occasional seas up to 4 feet. Winds will be out of the east at about 10 to 15 knots, gusting up to 20 knots.
