FRIDAY’S WEATHER FORECAST: 5/10/24

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Friday will be partly sunny with scattered showers and possibly thunderstorms. The high temperature will be approximately 87°F, 30.5°C, with winds out of the east at about 9 to 11 mph. The chance of rain on Friday is approximately 40%. Please remember that the ground is very saturated; additional rain could lead to flash flooding.
Friday night will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms. The low temperature will be approximately 78°F, 25.5°C, with winds out of the east at about 11 mph. The possibility of rain on Friday night is approximately 40%.
Weather conditions are expected to improve as an area of low pressure moves away from the region. However, Saharan dust may be prevalent over the next few days.

A northeasterly swell is expected to continue to generate some choppy seas.
On Friday, the seas will be approximately 2 to 4 feet, with occasional seas up to 5 feet. Winds will be out of the east at about 10 knots.
