Odette M. Andrew

Odette M. Andrew died on Feb. 9.

She is survived by her three children: daughter, Risa Andrew-Sasso and her sons: Fitzgerald Etienne and Sgt.1st Class Jeff Andrew; sisters: Rosemarie Harrigan, Gemma Pacquette, Rayna Ferris and Manuela Etienne; brother, Rev. Father Charles Martin; and grandchildren: Tyshel Carr, Dy-Nel Sasso, Latrell Sasso, Tevon Etienne, Tiffany Harris, Tatyana Andrew, Jeff Andrew Jr., Jaleel Andrew, Shantel Descartes, Junelle Andrew, Donell Andrew, Jayden Andrew, Jett Andrew, Melanie Andrew, Elie Andrew III, Brittany Rey, Shawn Andrew and Dawson Andrew.

She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Kalea Carr, Keilani Carr, Lylaa Sasso, Tessa D’Anna Ray, Grayson Andrew, Jamani Elie Andrew and Alani Sarai Andrew; son-in-law, James Sasso; daughters-in-law: Deidra Andrew,  Maureen Etienne and Laney Andrew-Faircloth; special daughter, Monique Donovan-Neita; and nieces and nephews: Kathleen, Karen, Kacy, Kishma, Nigel, Gemel, Kerlin, Fiona, Greg, Genel, Pearl, Veralyn, Diane, Davidson, Sandison, Curtis, Jim, Landru, Veda, Ericson, Edison, Ellison, John and Simonica.

Other survivors include caretaker, Heather Francis; special family and friends: Lera Andrew, Maxine Sasso, Khalid Carr, Julianna Williams,  Danny, Gerard Titre, Joanne Greaux, Helen Liverpool, Edna Pole, Ms. Sylma, Kayla Mitchel-Laware, Awonia Roberts and family, Sasso family, Elizee family, Benjamin family, Gumbs family, Pinny family, Roberts family and Nicholas family;

Special thanks to Continuum Care: Desi Samuel and Eavey James, Dr. Hillary Woodson, Human Services VI Family Caregivers Support Program, and management and staff of Turnbull’s Funeral Home.

The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, March 8, at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral. Interment will follow at Western Cemetery No. 3.

Professional services have been entrusted to Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
