Celebrated artist Theda Sandiford has been selected to represent the U.S. Virgin Islands at the prestigious International Fiber Art Festival, World of Threads. The event, which is a global celebration of fiber arts and textiles, will feature Sandiford’s thought-provoking installation, “Blackity Black Blanket.” The festival will take place from Oct. 10 to Dec. 17, in Ontario, Canada.
