Alice D. Bryan-Nisbitt Dies

Alice D. Bryan-Nisbitt died on Sept. 4.

Leaving to celebrate and cherish her memory is her daughter, Pamela V. Sweeney; son, Palmer M. Bryan; grandchildren: Minerva S. Delauney, Sheldon K. Sweeney and Alexander Bryan; great-grandchildren: Michonde’ and Zion Delauney, and Ah’Jahnai Sweeney; brothers: John L. and Charles A. Bryan (England).

She is also survived by sisters: Olive O Dublin (Curacao) and Rev. Amonteen Bryan-Doward; and nieces: Cheryl Lowery, Tricia Mckoy, Lisa Doward, Glenda and Gloria Dublin, Violet, Donna, Dana, Beverly, Janeen and Marine Bryan, Eulah Bartlett.

Other survivors include nephews: Clement and Glen Dublin, Kennedy Bryan, David Doward, Ronnie and Charles Bryan, Timothy Duncan, Kenrick Rogers and Roderick Brookes; special friends: Rae Armstrong, Elen Benjamin and the St. John Church family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The first viewing for friends and family will be held from 3-5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, at Divine Funeral Services Chapel.  The second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 29, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Christiansted. Internment follows at Christiansted Cemetery.
