Potable Water Interruption Still a Work in Progress

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (“WAPA” or “Authority”) would like to inform customers and community members on the island of St. Croix that the potable water service interruption initiated on Friday, July 7, continues to be an effort in progress.

Water Systems Maintenance crews are actively working to remedy faulty pumps at the Richmond pump station, and anticipated completion date is this Friday, July 14. Customers in the following areas can expect low to no pressure in the interim:

  • Princess
  • Orange Grove
  • St. John
  • Mon Bijou
  • Glynn
  • Colquohoun
  • Grove
