Amon Antonio Walcott died on Saturday, June 10, at the age of 16.
He is survived by his father, Trent Walcott; mother, Angelique Piper; stepmother, Sonia Ayala; grandmothers: Gladys Walters and Royette Russell; geat-grandfather, Ezekiel Walters; sisters: Nessara Walcott, Netalia Piper, Siniah Walcott and Katalayah Cooke; and brothers: Ajahni Walcott, Mykal Piper, Adonis “Nico” Matthew and Noah Piper
He is also survived by his nephew, Elijah Walcott; aunts: Tasha Walcott, Tamalia Walcott, Tamieka Phillipus, Marcia Walcott, Samantha Smith and Mayah Russell; great aunts: Geralda Walters, Phyllis Walcott, Delita Walcott and Alicia Cook; and great uncles: Gerald Walters and Henrique Walcott.
Other survivors include cousins: Marquise Walcott, Ty and Tory Walcott, Mecca Williams, Latrice Phillipus, Jahfarrie Gordon, Jahniah Young, Taina Plata, A’nylah Ventura, Tiana Ventura, Kayden Young and Noelle Williams; close friends: Ke’Nyla Herbert, Cah’myla Stedman, Tyashte Jackson and Reneisha Lawrence; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, July 10, at James Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
