Agriculture Department Plans Meeting With Farmers on St. Croix

Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture

The Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture (VIDA) plans a general meeting with all farmers on St. Croix. It will be held at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, under the green and white tent on the southeastern corner of the Rudolph E. Shulterbrandt Agriculture Complex (i.e., the grounds of the V.I. Department of Agriculture).

Commissioner Designee Louis E. Petersen Jr., Ph.D., notes that “The purpose of the meeting is to share the Department of Agriculture’s vision, plans and expectations with its clientele and supporters of agricultural development in the territory.” Dr. Petersen added that “during the meeting, the staff of the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture will also respond to questions and concerns from the audience.”
