Drugs Found at Cyril E. King Airport

On Monday, a man was discovered with 7.62  kg of marijuana inside his luggage at the  Cyril E. King Airport in reference to a possession of marijuana incident, said Virgin Islands Police Department. 

Police detained Kiani J. Smith, 25, and he was transported to corrections pending his advice of rights hearing. Smith is facing charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Bail was set at $7,500, according to police report.  

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Any persons having information regarding this incident can contact Det. S. Rhymer or Det. R.
