Wanted Man Arrested at Cyril E. King Airport

A wanted man in the State of Florida was arrested Wednesday at Cyril E. King Airport, the V.I. Police Department reported.

Detectives were dispatched to Cyril E. King Airport regarding 32-year-old Brandon C. Shaw, who was being detained by Customs and Border Patrol. Upon arrival, detectives made contact with the CBP Officer, who provided them with a warrant from Pinellas County Sherriff’s Office located in the State of Florida, according to the police report.

The documents also contained the paperwork for his extradition. Shaw was then placed under arrest and transported to Roy Lester Schneider Hospital for a preliminary COVID test and was then transported to Richard N. Callwood Command, where he was booked, processed, and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights, the police report stated.
