LBJ Pump Station Is Undergoing Repairs Through Weekend of April 15 – 16.

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the community of repairs being completed on the LBJ Pump Station which recently went offline.

A mechanical equipment failure caused the station to go offline. Equipment is on-site, which allows the Authority to resume operations as soon as possible. Crews will continue to monitor the station throughout the weekend and anticipate that normal operations should resume next week.

. Pedestrians are advised to avoid any standing water in the area.
