Our dear mother, Dahlia E. Brown, who was born on April 2, 1947, in Cayon, St. Kitts, sadly passed away on March 21 at the age of 75 in Fairburn, Ga.  She was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend.  Her smile and laughter lit up the room wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by Joseph Brown (husband), Francis Richards (sister), and Thomas Mintas (brother).

She is survived by her companion, Joseph Weekes; siblings: Diana Esdaile, Elvina Martin, Sonny Richards, Pearl Richards, Seater Richards and Christopher Richards; children: Pamela Joseph; sons-in-law: Garry Joseph, Joseph E. Brown Jr., Lori O. Brown, Lisa V. Brown and Darwin E. Brown; grandchildren: Nikita L. Encarnacion, Keyandra Jefferson, Grace Charles, Riley Brown, Bailey Brown, Xavier Oliver and Joshua Charles;

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; seven great-grandchildren; special friends: Carmen and Clarent Phillip, Natalie Brown, Willette Lewis, Vernon Lindo, Donald Liburd, Leroy David, Kelson Powell, Denise and Carlisle Blake, Brenda Richardson and Thomas and Iola Daley; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 13, at St. Peter Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
