Summary: The Department of Public Works (DPW) advises the community of emergency repairs scheduled for next week in Downtown Christiansted. Department personnel was notified of a collapsing concrete canal and deck near the intersection of the Seaborne Terminal. DPW assessed the structure on Friday, March 24, and will begin repairs on Monday, March 27.
Motorists are asked to follow the directions of department personnel on site and proceed with caution while traversing the area.
