Water Issues Disrupt Frederiksted, Kingshill Head Start Schedules

The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services, Office of Head Start, notifies parents and guardians of students at Frederiksted Head Start, that school will be closed Tuesday to conduct emergency water pump and internal water line repairs to address a water leak reported this past weekend.

In addition, Kingshill Head Start will continue to operate on a half-day schedule this week  in response to water pressure issues in that service area, the department said. Operating hours will be from 7:30  a.m. to noon until further notice, to accommodate similar repairs to the facility, it said. Parents will be notified of changes to the schedule.
