The Bizarre Bazaar returned to Coral Bay on Saturday, bearing holiday gifts for every taste. Dozens of residents and seasonal guests joined the fun of reconnecting, two years after COVID-19 came calling.
The 2022 event moved down the road from its pre-pandemic venue at Pickles Deli. Vendors and artists set up at the Oasis in a spacious setting. Food and drink gave shoppers a reason to linger.
Nonprofit groups took time to greet the public and welcome their generosity. The artist known as Sinbad made a special appeal on behalf of his friend Anne Marie Porter. Porter, who recently died, was a wedding officiant and a dog lover who created the “Be Kind” bumper stickers seen on St. John.
