Rotarians Congratulate Ocwen USVI Services Scholarship Awardees

Abigail Valery

Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle is delighted to award this year’s Ocwen USVI Services LLC Scholarship to Abigail Valery who attends the Boyer College of Music at Temple University. Valery is a recent graduate from The St. Croix Educational Complex and plans to pursue a course of study in music education. She will receive $5,000 per academic year for four years.

The Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle has a dynamic partnership with Ocwen USVI Services LLC which contributes funds dedicated to a graduating high school senior from the St. Croix Central High School or the St. Croix Educational Complex on a college path.

Other recipients of the Ocwen Rotary Multiyear Scholarship are Djamel Bouccenna, Shaherah Laville, Ajani Gordon and Eric Hennemann. Henneman graduated from college this year and is now enrolled in Medical School.

Ria Lang

The club is proud to also award two $1,000 scholarships to Ria Lang and Yalena Anderson.

Yalena, a graduate of Freewill Baptist School, plans on pursuing a degree in biology, starting off her college career at Barry University and going onto Medical School to attain her doctorate.

Ria, is a graduate of St. Croix Central High School and plans on pursuing a degree in the medical field, with a focus on clinical psychology at Georgia State University.

Current recipients of this Rotary scholarship are Justice Viera, Denali Georges, Mahlana Graham, Zhenya Blair, Darwin Christian and Khadija Baltimore.
