St. Croix Dolphins Hosts Long Course Meet

The St. Croix Dolphins hosted a Long Course Meet this past Saturday, Feb. 27. The meet was opened to all age groups with swimmers as young as five years to 17 years-old. Many of the Dolphin swimmers who competed accomplished personal best times.

Riley Miller broke a 23-year-old record in the 200m backstroke with a time of 2:35.85, previously held by Ashley Allaire 2:37.83, set in 1998. Competitions are an essential part of a swimmer’s development. The next swim meet is set for March 27.
