Second-Degree Burglary Reported in Estate Pearl

A resident of Estate Pearl on St. Croix reported Monday that her home had been burglarized while family members were there, the V.I Police Department reported.

According to police, the incident as reported at about 10:30 a.m. June 29. The homeowner told officers she saw damage to a window in the residence and checked with her her minor child, who told her someone had been in the house earlier. The homeowner said an inspection of the property revealed that money had been taken from a purse, as well as keys from the deadbolt on the main entry door.

The suspect was described as a Black adult male, who wore a blue shirt, long blue pants, white water boots, short dreadlocks, and a black mask on his face.

Police urged anyone with information to call 911, the Crime TipLine at 340-778-4950, or the anonymous tip services, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
