JFL Recognizes Employees’ Milestone Years of Service, Awards Employee of the Year

Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital (JFL) and Medical Center has named Shenequa Dore RN, an emergency department registered nurse, Employee of the Year. Dore began her career at JFL in 1995 as a Summer Youth Employment Program worker and continued working successive summer breaks at JFL until earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of the Virgin Islands. She is the 2020 Employee of the Year.

In addition to recognizing Employee of the Year, JFL also recognizes the employees achieving milestone years of service.

According to Interim Chief Executive Officer Dyma Williams, “JFL congratulates each person reaching a Years of Service Anniversary and the Employee of the Year. Each one of you has demonstrated a commitment and dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of the St. Croix community. JFL’s dedicated employees are the foundation of the sustainability and growth of JFL as a premier healthcare institution.”
