Judicial Branch Releases Easter Holiday Schedule, Contact Lists

Chief Justice Rhys S. Hodge advises the public and members of the Virgin Islands Bar that in observance of the Easter holidays, the judicial branch will be closed in both districts on the following days:

Thursday, April 9 – Holy Thursday

Friday, April 10 – Good Friday

Monday, April 13 – Easter Monday

Modified operations will resume on Tuesday, April 14. The public is reminded that the Raymond L. Finch Supreme Court Building located at No. 18 Strand Street, Frederiksted, St. Croix, is closed for the duration of this pandemic. There will be no drop box available at this facility; therefore, the public is advised to utilize the drop box at the R. H. Amphlett Leader Justice Center located at RR1 9000 Kingshill, St. Croix.

During this period of modified operations, judicial officers and court personnel remain available to conduct the business of the court virtually and telephonically.

Conventional filings continue to be accepted at all Superior Court locations and at the Supreme Court located in Crown Bay St. Thomas.
