VOAD to Hold Virtual Meeting on Assessment of Members, Community Needs

The St. Croix Long Term Recovery Group

The Virgin Islands Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) will hold a virtual meeting from 4-5 p.m., Thursday, April 2.

The St. Croix Long Term Recovery Group (STXLTRG) encourages its faith leaders to attend this call to discuss the following in more detail:

Assessment of Member/Community Needs

Identify members who

1). are over 60 years of age (especially if they live alone)

2). have disabilities, functional and/or access needs

3). require assistance with food/medicine (transportation, financial, etc.)

4). are experiencing psychological/emotional trauma

5). have other unique needs due to current circumstances

Deficiencies, Gaps in Services, etc.

Assessment of Assets

Transportation, such as vans

Food pantry/soup kitchen

Homeless shelter

Volunteers to run errands, shopping, delivering food, etc.
