District Court of VI Advises Public of New Protocols Due to COVID-19

The Honorable Wilma A. Lewis, chief judge of the District Court of the Virgin Islands, advises the public that the court has moved into the second phase of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective Monday, March 23, the District Court of the Virgin Islands will remain open; however, court personnel will be working remotely. Filings will continue to be received via the court’s electronic case management system, CM/ECF, and they will be reviewed and monitored in due course.

Judicial officers and court personnel will remain available to conduct the business of the court consistent with the provisions of the its March 17th order. Utilize the following contact information, as applicable, to communicate orally with the court:
