Returned Peace Corps Volunteers Plan Get Together

This is National Peace Corps Week, and St. Croix will be celebrating it on March 22 with a social gathering of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers as well as their friends and maybe those who worked at the Peace Corps Training Facility here on St. Croix in the 1960s. The event will be held from 2-6 p.m., March 22, at Leatherback Brewing Company. This is a family-friendly event.

If you know someone who has served or is interested in socializing with those that did, please join us for a friendly gathering. Join other Peace Corps Volunteers on St. Croix to meet new friends, socialize and tell stories about your service.

The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers are pleased to announce that Glenn Blumhorst, president and CEO of the National Peace Corps Association, will be attending.

This will be the first Peace Corps gathering since before the storms, and organizers hope to renew and revive this group in the St. Croix community.

To help promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the people who are served.
