David Anthony Urgent Dies at 60

David Anthony Urgent

David Anthony Urgent, also known as “Big Urge,” died on May 2. He was 60 years old.

He is survived by his mother, Esther M. Urgent; father, Vincent A. Urgent Sr.; sons: Shaquille Urgent and D’Quan Urgent; sister, Carolyn Urgent; nieces: Jasmine Urgent-Francis, Nandei McInthosh, Latoya Urgent and Shereca Urgent; nephew, Amani Alfred; great nieces: Shanijah Urgent, Makyba Pratt and Ma’kela Pratt; great nephew, Makeem Pratt; aunts: Gloria Adams, Claudia Urgent, Ann Johannes and Anna Johannes-Lindo; uncle, Leon Casey; special friends: Jerrilyn Morris, Cynthia Fenton, Kendell Henry and monitors at St. Croix Educational Complex; cousins and other relatives: the Adams, Davila, George, Bruce, Cornelius, Mason, Joseph, Rissing, Drummond, Gordon, Goodrich, Nielsen, McIntosh, Williams, Fergus and Watson families; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
