High pressure at the mid levels of the atmosphere will move slightly eastward today giving way to somewhat unstable conditions and an increased potential for shower development. One or two scattered showers are possible from time to time.
Across the regional waters, seas to three feet are forecast through the end of the week with winds on the order of 10-15 knots (12-17 miles per hour).
There is a moderate risk of rip currents for most beaches on St. Croix except the western coastline where the risk is low.
