V.I. Forecast: Generally Fair

A surface trough and associated low level moisture will continue to move across the local area throughout the day. Some passing showers may result.  As this feature moves away from the region, a drier air mass is expected to encompass the Virgin Islands yielding a generally fair weather pattern tonight and Sunday.

Small craft operators should exercise caution across the offshore waters due to six foot seas. Winds will remain from the east southeast at 15-20 knots (17-23 miles per hour).

There is a moderate risk of rip currents for most of the local beaches.
