Angel Emilio Diaz Diaz Sr., also known as “Millin,” of Estate Mon Bijou died on Monday, Jan. 21. He was 74 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Nydia E. Diaz; mother, Haydee Diaz; daughter, Haydee E. Diaz; sons: Angel E. Diaz, Jr. and Ivan E. Diaz; grandchildren: Angel E. Diaz III, Angelica E. Diaz, Giovanni E. Ramos, Angelo E. Denton, Emilio E. Denton and Abigail E. Diaz-Bass; great- grandchildren: Davyun I. Diaz and Jaedyn I. Diaz; sisters: Erohilda Diaz and Edna E. Diaz; brothers: Felix A. Diaz, Elliot E. Diaz, Angel R. Diaz and Luis Diaz; nieces: Iomayra Garcia and Iris Murphy; nephews: Javier E. Velez, Douglas Velez and Luis Cuevas; great nieces: Sonia Victoria, Eryn Caroline, Stephanie and Selena; and great nephews: Carlos Ruben, Christian, Angel Mauricio, Javier Antonio and Luis Angel.
He is also survived by aunt, Mercedes Diaz Rivera de Velasquez; uncle, Herminio Diaz Rivera; daughter-in-law, Carmen G. Diaz-Cotto; son-in-law, Clayton E. Diaz-Bass; sister-in-law, Iris V. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
