Coral “Shamika” Potter died on Nov. 23 in Orlando, Florida.
Coral was preceded in death by her grandmother, Susan E. Todman; father. Adolph A. Potter; and brother, Noel “Adibio” “Lightening” Potter; sisters: Patrice and Avon Potter.
She is survived by her mother, Norma D. Smith; brother, Adolph “Gombo” Potter; sisters: Lynette Potter Moreland, Calen Potter-Valmond, Colleen Potter-Salem, Carolyn “Carey” Potter Wyllis, and Carmen and Ada Potter; special uncle, Eugene Taylor; special brother-in-law, Dexter Valmond; and many more relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Celestial Chapel at Hurley Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Homes for Funerals and Cremation Center of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
