Limetree Bay Terminals LLC has awarded scholarships to 20 recent graduates of Virgin Islands high schools to assist them in their pursuit of a degree at an accredited U.S. college or university.
The scholarship recipients and where they plan to attend college:

• Danielle Coleman, Nova Southeastern University
• Jalen Frances, Georgetown University
• Hezekiah George, Bradley University
• Ajani Gordon, Florida Institute of Technology
• Lileth Grouby, University of the Virgin Islands
• Najae Harris, University of the Virgin Islands
• Micah Hill, La Roche College
• Brianna John-Baptiste, Iona College
• Taylor Lampkin, Lincoln University
• Diamond Mark, Smith College
• Sparkle Mark, George Washington University
• Varuna Mirchandi, Suffolk University
• Aria Rawlings, Eckerd College
• Sumaiyah-Nadira Richardson, University of the Virgin Islands
• Kadysha Schoonmaker, La Roche College
• Mansi Totwani, Princeton University
• Chelsea Valery, Johns Hopkins University
The recipients were selected based on their scholastic record and financial need compared to other applicants. These scholarships will continue for four years, provided the students maintain good academic standing at an accredited U.S. college or university.
Limetree has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships for the 2018-2019 school year.
CEO Darius Sweet congratulates all the scholarship recipients and said that supporting the education of students in the Virgin Islands community will continue to be a priority for Limetree Bay Terminals.
Sweet said, “Education is key to the continued growth of the community as well as Limetree’s organization. Limetree is proud to support these students and recognizes their hard work and dedication to education.
