VIPD Announces Temporary Closure of Firearms Bureau

Virgin Islands Police Department

The Virgin Islands Police Department advises the public that the Firearms Bureau will be closed to the public from Monday, April 30, to Friday, May 11, in both districts.

This is due to necessary system updates. Exemptions include all firearm transactions such as new firearms, unregistered entering, or safekeeping firearms departing the territory.

The Firearms Bureau will resume operations at 8:30 a.m., Monday, May 14.
