OmniSystems Inc. to Hold Free USVI IT Expo for Two Days

Virginia-based information technology firm OmniSystems Inc. has partnered with national technology vendors DELL and MicroPact to host their third USVI Information Technology Expo on Feb. 7 and Feb. 8 at Marriott’s Frenchman’s Reef Beach Resort on St. Thomas. The expo will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days.

The event will open with a press conference from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8. Attendees will hear from technology providers about the importance and the latest trends in cloud technologies and cyber security, best practices for human resources professionals to protect employee data, the benefits of storing information in the information technology (IT) cloud, and other topics about automating office environments.

This event is free and is especially intended for IT professionals, human resources executives and decision makers in the public and private sector. The expo will feature a technology trade show where vendors can showcase their products and services as well as a raffle for participants who attend both days of the event.

OmniSystems, owned and operated by Virgin Islanders Ian Tomlinson and Reginald Vigilant, is headquartered in Northern Virginia with a team of over 70 engineers.
