Marilyn Rivera died on Oct. 20 at the age of 55.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosie Samaroo; and brothers: Mukesh Sinanan and Deo Sinanan.
She is survived by her husband, Jorge E. Rivera; sons: Jorge A. Rivera and Sunil Rivera; grandchild, Zenyra Rivera; daughter-in-law, Grisela Rivera; sisters: Rosalind Boodoosingh, Monica Andry (Fla.), Merlyn Mohammed (Fla.) and Meena Maharaj (N.Y.); brothers: Ranjit Sinanan and Prakash Sinanan; nieces: Cheryl Ann Narinesingh, Janelle Boodoosingh, Risa Persad, Rhea Mohammed Rajaram, Janice Williams, Sarah Sinanan, Vidya Mooklal and Nicole Boodoosingh; nephews: Ronnie Boodoosingh, Randall Boodoosingh, Randy Mohammed, Ganesh Gosine, Russell Maharaj, Joel Sinanan and Luvy Gosine; special friends: Vidya Seecharan and Alvan Seecharan; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, at the Church of the Nazarene, 55 Golden Rock. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
