Hugo Ullyses Reid Dies

Hugo Ullyses Reid Hugo Ullyses Reid, also known as “Sonny,” died on Oct. 3.
He is survived by his sons: Dwayne Bass and Foster Tyson; daughters: Dawne Moore, Keri Reid, Nicole Coleman and Neidre Reid; stepdaughter: Vanita Weekes; grandchildren: D’rice and Jamal Moore, De’Jah Bass, De’Avion and De’Vaughn Reid, Nickelle Lake, Nicolas and Nicquan Coleman, Charmaal and Shamara Weekes, Chanae and Craig Phillip; son-in-law, Cyrus Moore; brothers: Wilson Reid, Carl Reid and George Reid; adopted brother, David Isaac; and sisters: Gwendolyn Richardson, Gwenda Hobson, Ethlyn Archibald and Alma Gumbs.
He is also survived by brothers-in-law: Edison Richardson, Ira Hobson, Wendell Archibald and Claudius Gumbs; sisters-in-law: Iona, Oralyn and Claudia Reid; 15 nephews; 12 nieces; close friends: the manager and staff of 11 Construction Company, Pastor Emanuel Etienne, Roy Gumbs, Lendel Jnlouis, Hophni Martin and Janice Carty. Also left to mourn: the Connors, Hodges, Hughes, Cartys, Richardson and Brooks families in Anguilla, as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 4-5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at Divine Funeral Services.
There will be a second viewing at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, at First Pentecostal Church, Estate Carlton. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
