VIPD Arrests 4 on St. Croix

The V.I. Police Department announced four arrests that took place on St. Croix on Wednesday and Thursday.

– Terrell E. Johnson, 20, of Christiansted was arrested Wednesday pursuant to a warrant charging him with possession of stolen property. Bail for Johnson was set at $10,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.

– At 2:28 a.m., police arrested 37-year-old Jose Cruz and charged him with second-degree assault/domestic violence. According to police, Cruz strangled his female partner during a domestic dispute. He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise of rights hearing.

– Denver Ragguette of the Watergut Housing Community was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm in the area of Harborview. Bail for Ragguette was set at $25,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections.

– At 12:35 a.m. Thursday, 25-year-old Kimari Jackson of LaGrande Princesse was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. Police said Jackson was responsible for gunfire in a housing community while engaged in a domestic dispute. He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections, pending his advice of rights hearing.
