New Breed Basketball Association Results Given for June 20-22

The New Breed Basketball Association had a slate of games over the past weekend. On Friday, June 20, Ujima routed Rockers 77-44. Ujima was led by Joshua Hernandez with 22 points and seven steals. Jahreem Williams added 16 points and four steals and three assists. Rockers were led by Tikoy Felix and Malik Miller. They finished with 12 points and 10 points, respectively.
In the second game of the night, Hoyas defeated Legacy with a buzzard beater by Eddie Castillo. Hoyas were led by Warren Christian with 14 points and by Castillo with 12 points and four assists. Melvin Mathurin also added 12 points for the five-time champion Hoyas. Legacy was led by Khyle Davis, who hit five three-pointers to finish with 15 points. Robert Evans finished the game with 14 points and three assists. Ryan Nelthropp added 13 points along with seven rebounds.
On Saturday night, Lakers defeated Boys Dem 67-57. The Lakers had a balance attack with four players in double figures. Raheem Huggins finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Sylvester finished the game with 10 points and nine rebounds. Terrell Harris added 10 points and eight rebounds. Boys Dem were led by Wilson Ferrance, who finished with 18 points and nine rebounds. The workhouse Rasheed Swantson finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, four assists, and three steals.
In the second game of the night the defending champion Kings defeated Guidance 78-66. Professional basketball player Craig Williams flirted with a triple double as he finished with 19 points 12 rebounds and eight assists. Devonte Pryce finished with 18 points, four rebounds, and four steals. Fellow professional basketball player Cuthbert Victor added 12 points and 15 rebounds. Guidance was led by Shane Hodge with 19 points and Maeem Jonzalez, who added 18 points to go along with eight rebounds.
Action will continue Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Educational Complex Tim Duncan Gymnasium. Spartans take on Dread Eyes and Hoyas take on Rockers.
