Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives arrested 22-year-old Michael P. Hendrickson Saturday and charged him with third-degree assault for an incident that occurred Aug. 28.
The V.I. Police Department announced the arrest Tuesday.
According to detectives, a male victim was injured by gunshots near the Bella Vista Hotel on Aug. 28. Following an investigation by the detectives, Hendrickson was identified as the suspect. Police also said Hendrickson and the victim were involved in a previous incident and that the shooting was a result of an ongoing feud between the two men.
Hendrickson was arrested just before 7 p.m. He was held on a $50,000 bail and remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
