Be Part of the Crime Stoppers Solution

Crime prevention is up to all of us. We will not see a further reduction in crime until everyone comes forward and tells law enforcement what they know. Crime Stoppers allows you to do that anonymously, with no fear of retaliation and without having to testify in a court of law. If you know something, say something and help get these criminals off our streets.

St. Croix: On July 23 in the Mt. Victory area, the burned body of Earl James was found inside his burned vehicle, a white Toyota Tacoma with the license plate CEQ-323. The night before, officers received a call that unknown individuals had stopped a vehicle similar to the one owned by Charles in the vicinity of Concordia Villas housing community and the Alexander Henderson Elementary School. If you were in the area and saw anyone or anything involving this vehicle, speak up.

St. John: VIPD and other enforcement agencies are seeking information from the community in identifying the individuals bringing in illegal aliens and drugs to the various shores of St. John. If you see boats dropping off people along the shorelines or packages being dropped in the water, please call 911 or Crime Stoppers.

St. Thomas: On Sept. 7 at 1:30 a.m., a man was walking in the vicinity of Ship Wreck in Havensight when he was shot in the leg. The man is unaware of who shot him. If you know anything about this shooting, please let Crime Stoppers know.

Step up, be part of the solution, and help make our islands a safer place to live and visit by telling us what you know about these or any other crimes at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also text “USVI” plus your message to CRIMES (274637). All three of these methods will keep you anonymous. If your tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, illegal drugs or weapons, you will receive a cash reward to be paid according to your instructions.
