Julian Edwards Jr. Dies at 42

Julian Edwards Jr.Julian "Walkathon" Edwards Jr. of Aureo Diaz Heights died on April 7, at his residence. He was 42 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Dolores "LoLo" Martin; father, Julian G. Edwards Sr. (St. Lucia); sisters: Lorraine Martin (St. Thomas), Claudette and Mavis Watkins (St. Croix), Stephanie and Melissa Hughes (St. Croix) and Ajisha B. Bowen (Atlanta); brothers: Raymond "Rakibu" Georges (New York), Ray "Tony" Martin (N.Y.), Winston "Walibu" Hughes (N.Y.), Glen Edwards (St. Croix) and Carlos Elias (St. Croix); aunts: Iris Browne (St. Croix), Evelyn Martin (N.Y.), Cassandra Martin (St. Croix) and Rose Yarwood (N.Y.); uncles: Raymond "Skullet" Martin, Terrence "Tasco" Martin, Gerald Martin, Abraham "Bam Bam" Martin, Charles ‘Charlo" Martin and Allan "Shakili" Yarwood; great uncles: Bromley Martin, Henry Martin and Sinclair Jones; nieces: Christina Watkins, Nakishma Watkins, Anna Ayala, Adirah Vallarde, Jamila Ruiz, Nandy, Pearline and Jayda Jackson, Safiya Georges, Linda Williams, Lakishma Watkins, Sharifah Edwards, Walidah Watkins, Rayesha Georges and Mia Elias; and nephews: Jason, Voshon, Kobe and Charles Vallarde III, Joseph Williams, Shamoi Charles, Anselmo and Bruno Jackson, Timothy Laurent, Estephon Cavon, Naeem, Triston and Jayden Elias.
He is also survived by great nieces: Jaysha, Sahara, Brianna, Zahriyah, Nataisa, Candajah, Danika, Makaylah, Ayanna, Shenya, Zahara and Ashana; great nephews: Elijah Vallarde, Joshua Rivera, Malik Matta, Kimoy Vallarde, Eustace, Deandre, Omani and Sekkou; family and friends: Edwards family of St. Lucia, Maliques Barber Shop, Busters Electronics, Pueblo Lareine and Golden Rock, Dollar Saver, Deptartment of Human Services, Mental Health Clinic and staff, Jesse Forte, Shaun Rogers, Gerard Luz James II and family, St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Harvey’s Restaurant, Mary Henry, Agatha John, Rita Martin, Mae Agnes Velez, Benticks and family, Sylvia Rios, Dawn Martin Barthelemew, Larry Finley and family, Mary Walcott, Florence Jules, Ms. Daisy, Sitnah Yarwood and family, Fernando Martin Jr., Theresa, Asham Martin, Yvonne, Dean, Terry and Terrence Martin, LaLa and family, Webber, Delma, Karen Goodwin, Aracelis Lopez, Sign Fast Food, Catholic Charities, Brenda Charles and Jacklyn Charles, Iris, Dashawn Montenez and Brenda; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Tributes will be given at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. will take place on Thursday, April 18, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
