Bookmobile Has New Downtown Charlotte Amalie Location

The Division of Libraries, Archives & Museums in cooperation with the Virgin Islands Police Department has re-designated the downtown Charlotte Amalie location of the St. Thomas Bookmobile, according to a press release issued Sunday by the Department of Planning and Natural Resources.
Until further notice, the St. Thomas Bookmobile will be located directly in front of Pizza Hut, at the intersection of Guttets Gade and Veterans Drive. It will be parked parallel to the VITRAN bus shelter and Veterans Drive, and will be facing west toward the First Bank Building on the opposite site of Guttets Gade.
It will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2-4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
DPNR Commissioner Alicia V. Barnes said that during the final week of Carnival, the St. Thomas Bookmobile will be available at the Pizza Hut on Monday, April 22..
