The University of the Virgin Islands in collaboration with the Ana G. Mendez University Systems Caribbean Computing Center for Excellence and with the support of the National Science Foundation offers a free Saturday Research Academy program for pre-college students interested in pursuing a career in computing or information technology (grades 10-12).
The research program will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. The starting date is Jan. 19 at UVI and the ending date is May 11 (Spring Research Symposium in Puerto Rico). An informative session is scheduled on from 8-10 a.m. on Jan. 19 in B204E Computer Lab at UVI.
