The first robbery occurred at about 1 a.m. Sunday, the second about an hour later, the police said. The suspects were captured within an hour of the second robbery and arrested at about 4:15 a.m.

"This is not business as usual, if we have a lead, we will be relentless in the pursuit of the suspects," St. Croix Acting Police Chief James Parris said. "We will immediately track you down and lock you down.”

Parris thanked the members of the public who gave police descriptions of the suspects and the vehicle.

“We are grateful for their assistance which was vital in the apprehension of the suspects,” he said.
