Kahalifa Cisse Dies

Kahalifa "Baba" CisseAs you all know, Kahalifa Cisse, a good and peaceful friend better known as"Baba," passed away on Nov. 21 in the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital after a very short period of illness.
Baba was born and raised in Senegal, West Africa. He came to St. Thomas in 1997 and was working in Vendors Plaza since then.
He resided at Estate Thomas where all his neighbors loved him. Baba was a very religious man who loved to "Deen" in the Mazjid Nur of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
He loved all his fellow Muslim brothers and sisters. He loved his children and was always ready to spend time with them. May Allah put him in his Best Paradise.
Baba leaves behind his mother, wife and three children with a lot of other family members.
His body was in John Thomas Memorial Chapel where a Muslim service was held with other fellow vendors working at Vendors Plaza.
The family of Baba, associated with all the African brothers in the U.S. A., seizes this opportunity to thank Mazjid Nur and all the Muslim Community who contributed in returning Baba back to Africa. We would like to thank all of the friends of Baba who expressed their well wishes and intended to do what they could to make everything easy.
Shookran, Baba’s friends.
All arrangements are by John Thomas Memorial Chapel.
