Innovative Cable TV’s Spanish language cable channels are temporarily offline, the company announced Monday. "Due to recent changes made by the programmer," the Spanish language package is experiencing technical difficulties, company officials said in a statement, adding that Innovative is addressing the problem by installing new equipment and by executing a new contract with another programmer.
Channels currently affected include Channel 301-TR3s; Channel 302-Discovery en Español; Channel 303-Cine Latino; Channel 304- FOX Sports Español; Channel 305- CNN Español; Channel 306-ESPN Deportes-HD and Channel 307-History Español.
Once a new provider is identified, the company will advise the public of changes to the channel lineup.
Customers who currently subscribe to the Spanish package will no longer be billed for that service.
For cable TV or phone repairs, Innovative customers calling from land phone lines should dial 912. Customers using wireless phones can reach the repair center at (340) 778-1742. Please have available the telephone number, statement number, address, description of problem and brief directions.
For assistance with Innovative PowerNet, customers should call (340) 714-3700.
Innovative customers may also report a service problem online by logging on to www.innovativevi.net, clicking on the “Contact Us” button and selecting “Repair Center” as the subject in the “Submit an Inquiry” section.
