Gunmen Rob Father, Son in Home

Two armed men entered the Estate Profit home of a father and his adult son Wednesday and stole money and personal items, the V.I. Police Department reported.

The two adult victims, a 69-year-old father and 41-year-old son, told police the suspects entered the home through the living room window and pointed a gun at the elder victim. The suspects began to search the home until the son surrendered his cell phone, cash and his gold neck chain. The witnesses said one suspect was carrying a black handgun and the second was carrying a silver handgun.

Both suspects spoke Spanish, both had slim builds, brown complexions and wore black gloves. They had black shirts tied over their faces, wore long sleeved black T-shirts and blue jeans. The suspects left the home through the rear door and fled on foot.

No one was injured.

Police consider the case first-degree burglary. It is being followed up by detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
