Patrick M. Edward Dies

Patrick M. Edward, better known as "Ras Mike," died on Oct. 18.
He is predeceased by his brother, Matthew (Julian) Edward. He is survived by his wife, Agath Edward; children: Latifa (Tamika) Edward, Michaela (Bianca) Edward, Dahilia (Giannie) Edward, Keithlyne Edward and Patrick Edward Jr.; grandchildren: Kymoi Edward, Keysi Edward and Rollins Raymond Johnson IV; brothers: Gregory Edward Sr., Ralph Small, John JnBaptiste, Martin JnBaptiste, Preston Joseph and Clayton Simon; sisters: Albertha Edward, Cecilia (Catherine) Mathurin, Deborah Maximin, Augusta (Madline) Marsh, Vera Simon, Garfield Simon and Manuala Simon; step father, Francis (Eldred) JnBaptiste; brothers-in-law: Anthony (Puff Daddy) Mathurin, Leo (Mr. Wonderful) Maximin, Daniel Beaubrun and John Beaubrun; and sisters-in-law: Josephine Edward, Camilla JnBaptiste, Leona (Diane) JnBaptiste, Marie (Camilla) Edward, Mary Small, Shelia Beaubrun, Suzie George, Jessie Belizaire, Catty Beaubrun, Janice Gilbert and Laura Beaubrun.
He is also survived by nephews: James Mathurin, Rene Mathurin, David Marsh, Gregory Edward Jr., Alexander Ferdinand, Kuaumi JnBaptiste, Bellie Edward, Jeffrey Edward and Felix Edward; nieces: Kalisha Mathurin, Natasha Mathurin, Allison Mathurin, Isidora (Madline) Cook, Monique Edward, Kalisha JnBaptiste, Alicia Martinez, Juleen Edward, Coreen Edward, Rubecca George, Nya Marsh and Adelta Mathurin; cousins: John L. Edward, John Edward, Francis Charlery, Desmond Charlery, Nicodemaus Marius, Peter Charlery, Allan Edward, Malins Charlery, Thomas Edward, Monique LaWrencin, Roseline Edward, Flora Edward, Flora Edward, Veronica Edward, Angela Charlery and Brenda Wenceslaus; best friends: Linus Alfred Brother for Life, Marvin Branble and Mandy Cazaubon.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, St. John. Interment will be at Cruz Bay Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
